SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
This position is expected to perform infrastructure deployment and physical layer cabling activities. Extensive troubleshooting in addition to administrative role.Ensures all scheduled jobs, reports, and maintenance are completed while implementing specific procedures to handle situations of abnormalities, problems, and procedural breeches. Directly oversees the scheduling, coordination, and technical training development of select Information Services (IS) personnel. Ensures all necessary materials for both the technical raised floor and facility are in stock or on order to maintain needed schedules. Directly responsible for the security and transfer of sensitive archival data to secured storage vendors. Responsible for the successful installation and tune-up of new IS equipment without interruption to other services throughout Sutter Health and its regional affiliates.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, or related field of study
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated knowledge of electronic data processing (EDP) disaster recovery and security principles.
Capable of reacting effectively in emergency situations in order to restore or maintain system operations.
Working knowledge of hardware and operating system software.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel/staff.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams committed to carrying out initiatives in environments that may be resistant to change.
Skills to make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
Ability to encourage individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation in order to establish rapport and gain the trust of others or to listen perceptively and convey awareness.

Pay Range is $38.69 to $58.03 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
