Observes and analyzes cardiac rhythms of monitored patients; reports and responds appropriately to the Registered Nurse any changes in patient's rhythm.

EDUCATION

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

Other: Completion of EKG monitoring course

Other: Completions of Monitor Technician Training

Other: Medical Terminology

Other: Cardiac Arrhythmia recognition

Other: Cardiac drugs and drips


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

Previous telemetry monitoring

Pay Range is $32.22 to $42.01 / hour
