ABOUT THIS ROLE
As Associate Director, Product Operations, you will partner with senior Product, Insights and Technology leaders to scale Audible’s product delivery. We are looking for a partnership-builder with experience in subscription products, structuring and executing scaled agile, and working in customer-obsessed organizations. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving and scaling product delivery by spearheading new ways of working, aligning Audible product and technology leaders, ensuring rigorous alignment and prioritization across product team’s roadmaps, and maximizing customer impact.

As an Associate Director, Product Operations, you will...
- Develop and evolve frameworks for allocating product and tech resources to key initiatives, measuring the effectiveness of resource allocation, and optimizing over time for effective portfolio management
- Actively look for continuous improvement to product delivery processes with senior product, insights and technology leaders, as well as cross functional partners in Marketing, Content and International relentlessly pursuing process improvement
- Build and evolve KPI frameworks for measuring and optimizing business impact and team productivity through KPI management
- Coordinate and evolve quarterly/continuous product planning processes, standards, and forums, including rigorous issue management and resolution
- Effectively communicate with leadership about initiatives, plans, and challenges with Audible employees at all levels
- Connect Product and Technology planning to broader cross functional corporate planning in partnership with Finance, Marketing, International and Content teams
- Build trust and collaborative working relationships with key business partners

Newark, NJ, USA

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product management, product operations, technical program management, and/or engineering experience with a proven track record of successful product delivery and transformation
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence toolsets with various plugins

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- 1+ year in a media or gaming organization
- 1+ year experience with subscription business models
- Experience in change management
- Experience working with Airtable
- MBA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically targeted to a senior leadership audience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively organize and communicate with cross functional teams
- Excellent expectation-management abilities
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strategic planning, and program planning; experience in a scaled agile environment
- Proven record of innovation and thought leadership to build new tools and processes
