Skill: MicroStrategy Admin
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence with MicroStrategy.
- Hands on experience on Installation, configuration, and deployment of MicroStrategy tool and clients.
- Perform MicroStrategy security and administration for all internal and external users including the creation / modification of MicroStrategy roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals.
- Implement patches and other day-to-day MicroStrategy content administration tasks including creating folders/reports/users and migrating reports/folders/users from Dev to QA to Production.
- Support all MicroStrategy configuration requirements for new clients and client database migrations including working with DBAs to set up and test new data sources used by MicroStrategy, creating new MicroStrategy security roles, and setting up new user security and reporting interfaces for users.
- Support developers by troubleshooting reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations and/or cubes/reports/dashboards.
- Set up web interface for MicroStrategy, including building Application Server instances.
- Set up monitoring and alerts notifications for key performance indicators for the MicroStrategy infrastructure.
- Be conversant with the tools in MicroStrategy suite e.g. Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, License Manager.
- Experience in Capacity sizing/Planning of MicroStrategy infrastructure components.
- Hands on experience on Linux/UNIX operating systems.
- Analytical and Communication skills.
- Hands on experience on creating dynamic dashboards, visualizations using dynamic dashboards, metrics auditing.
- Hands on experience on MicroStrategy SDK environment.
