Technical/Functional Skills:

Training and experience in the use of GD&T

Understanding of measurement methods

Experienced with use of Oracle modules related to manufacturing.

Self-starter with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete projects.

Basic understanding of statistical tools and their application to manufacturing processes (ie, process capability studies, establishing process control limits, etc)

Experience working in an ISO regulated manufacturing facility.

Works well with others and can coordinate efforts with own and other departments.

Able to operate independently with limited oversight.

High attention to detail

Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum)

 

Experience Required: 5+ Years.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Review validation reports and/or first article submissions for new supplied components.

Assist in coordinating across technical disciplines within the organization, suppliers, joint venture partners and/or OEM partners.

Demonstrated ability to implement Mechanical Design/ GD&T into complex parts.

Demonstrated technical, front-end engagement with electromechanical, machining, sheet metal and/or plastics suppliers.

Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of problems involving the approval of suppliers’ components into Beckman’s manufacturing processes.

Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to Supplier Quality Engineering (i.e. metrics, data entry, log parts)
