Qlik Replicate - Bloomfield, CT

o Overall 7-10 years of IT experience o 5 years’ experience supporting database or replication technologies especially QLIK replicate o Linux Shell scripting and Windows Power Shell scripting o Experience with Qlik replicate is preferable, IIDR and GoldenGate is a plus o Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or other database technologies o Previous experience administering databases in an enterprise environment o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Organizational Skills. o Personal attributes: adaptable, change agent, collaborative, results driven, accountability oriented. o Understand the cross-functional interdependencies with and across IT communities. Adjust communication style based on target audience. o Ability to work in a fast paced, quick moving environment

o Experience developing automation using Ansible playbooks o Experience with public cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure o Experience with Kafka a plus

 Job Responsibilities 

* Working experience with QLIK replicate is must 

* Working experience with Golden gate and IIDR is a plus * Install replication products and drivers on windows and Linux systems * Apply the patches to replication tools for life cycle management * Must be a team player * Must be an Enthusiastic candidate who work in a challenging environment * Must adapt to a change ,learning new technologies * Must be very good at documentation and presentation skills * Automation using Python and terraform is a plus * AWS certification is a plus * working experience with AWS services like RDS , Aurora , S3 etc * Good Problem solving skills and analytical skills * Must be able to deliver the results with minimal supervision * Assist project teams, database teams and development teams in the setting up of new replication requests * Provide operational support for replication technologies * Provide assistance and training to database teams regarding replication technologies 

* Work with vendors to troubleshoot replication issues as needed * Test new releases and patches provided by vendors * Support migrations from legacy replication technologies to new technologies * Confer with application owners, users, and other engineers to collect requirements for replication enhancements * Provide oncall support
