Job Description:

The Finance Analyst will be working on reporting and forecasting for Portugal's different lines of business, consolidating and analysing financial data and providing recommendations to the business to predict future financial trends.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:  

• Perform financial reporting and forecasting, collect and prepare quantitative data with P&L variances calculation to include qualitative comments for the Finance Director
• Give support on Business Reviews by completing historical data into Excel spreadsheets and preparing those reports for the Finance Director's review      
• Deal with the Finance Department, LOB’s and departments to obtain and collect the necessary information to achieve the above points
• Comply to monthly & quarterly deadlines of Reporting Calendar set by Regional
• Comply to monthly closing deadlines: checking account bookings according to Controllership instructions, to control accuracy in SAP closing data
• Be able to give feedback to Finance Director on status of bookings, tracking list of monthly accruals and complete P&L  
• Check and supervise the information is accurate and according to Regional instructions before consolidating 
• Support the team on managing all key financial cycles across all LOBs (strategic planning, budget and forecast processes) for Portugal 
• Consolidate financials for all key financial cycles and prepare related presentations  
• Handle communication with different stakeholders (local and regional) 
• Act as a project manager on key business projects, including implementation & follow up 
• Prepare presentations & reports in Finance

The Experience We Require From You:

• At least 5 years of experience in the finance area in a multinational environment
• Experience in the Finance Planning Department reporting to a Director or a CFO
• Financial Planning and/or Business Development of USA multinationals is a plus
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Fluent in English and Portuguese both written and spoken
• Spanish is a plus
• Microsoft Office skills, Excel proficient
