The Associate Director Supply Chain will be a 2-to-3-year assignment that works in a matrixed environment to support the manufacturing and delivery of the Exterior Lighting product lines manufactured in our facilities located in Lippstadt Germany & Bengaluru India. This position is not only responsible for the specific duties and responsibilities directly related to supply chain; he/she is also responsible for having a thorough understanding of the overall business plan and long-term sales and marketing strategy so he/she can ensure that the supply base is capable of supporting the future of the business.   Strong people and leadership traits, along with the ability work collaboratively with peers locally and across the global organization are essential to the success of this position. This is a One-Site Role in Lippstadt.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Supply Chain teams located in Lippstadt Germany & Bengaluru India in delivery of materials and products for manufacturing and aftermarket segments
• Ensure suppliers are held accountable for meeting continuous improvement initiatives from both a strategic and tactical perspective, including lead time reduction, flexibility to schedules, quality improvement, inventory reduction (entire supply chain), and cost reduction on a year over year basis
• Support enterprise initiatives and global sourcing strategies for a range of commodities; ensure those are migrated into the existing supply chain with minimum interruption and maximum cost reduction. 
• In coordination with the Interiors SC initiatives and standard work, lead performance improvement programs throughout the supply chain using overall leadership experience; play a key role in the implementation of continuous improvement techniques throughout the organization
• Lead via CORE principles, drive waste of processes and transform the Exterior Lighting Supply Chain to best in class.
• Create a collaborative seamless supply chain team between Lippstadt & Bengaluru
• Develop & coach the Lippstadt and Bengaluru supply chain teams
• Be a strong Supply Chain partner and problem solver to the Value Stream Leaders and related Operational teams.
• Support supply chain transformation including work transfer and dual sourcing activities to Best Cost Countries inclusive of current products and new product development.

Strong Dotted line to Managing Director, Lippstadt Germany & Associate Director, Lighting Supply Chain  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, or other relevant discipline
• 12 years of prior relevant experience within the Aerospace, Automotive Industry or other relevant discipline
• Strong leadership capabilities and proven experience in leading a team
• 10+ years of specific experience in the Supply Chain function
• SAP Knowledge / Experience
• Organizational change management experience specifically related to standard process/behavior alignment
• Experience leading an international, multi-cultural supply chain organization
