Raytheon Finance Business Process is seeking a Manager, FP&A (M4). This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your network, work from a big picture view of the business, and enact positive change across all of Raytheon Finance. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of analysts who streamline, improve, and automate critical business processes and reporting.

This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to work with modern business intelligence and analytics tools, while partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders from Digital Technologies, Accounting, Estimating & Pricing, Program Controls, and Functional Finance.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support key business processes, including the quarterly EAC cycle.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on major efforts such as reorganizations, divestitures, CAS harmonization, and more.

  • Lead a team that delivers standardized reporting and dashboarding, as well as bridging critical process gaps with automation and technology.

  • Partner with SAP core teams, digital technology, and enterprise services groups to drive enhancements to business processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Preferred degrees in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • Recent experience with program controls, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Accounting.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership (direct or indirect) experience. Proven ability to influence, lead, and work cross-functionally to achieve results.

  • Effective communication skills to include ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines while managing the workload of a team of analysts.

  • Leadership experience in a supervisory role, with track record of developing talent.

  • Strong experience in project management, with proven ability to independently lead complex efforts and drive results on accelerated timeframes.

  • Experience with forecasting techniques and Estimate at Completion (EAC).

  • CORE certified, or equivalent experience with Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma, LEAN, etc).

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query.

  • Experience with SAP, including Business Warehouse.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.

Additional Information:

  • This position is grade M4, Manager, FP&A.

  • Relocation assistance is not available.

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
