The  Utility Data Project Manager will work with the client’s respective teams, Sustainability Program Team, and Utility Bill Management provider to project manage utility data flows, including ongoing verification, solution, and vendor management activities. 

The focus of this role will be to oversee and coordinate all in scope utility data (including electricity, natural gas, diesel, and water) integration requirements to successfully capture and report on complete and quality data, with the use of internal teams and systems and through management of a third-party vendor. 

The role will act as a liaison between multiple parties and teams involved in the implementation process, ensuring effective communication and coordination to deliver exceptional service to the client. 

This role will work alongside the wider account's Sustainability Program team to maintain and manage data streams alongside the utility bill processor, which includes pertinent data systems and reporting tracking and activities, as well as work with the account Finance and Sustainable Operations account teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies from utility bill processor feeds and undertake ongoing vendor management activities to resolve these. As part of this role, the candidate will lead a team dedicated to the acquisition, processing, QAQC, and reporting of various data integration processes and oversee the successful ongoing implementation of the client's utility bill management program. 

This role is hybrid with some on-site office requirements. Candidates must be located near Seattle, Arlington (Virginia), Dallas, New York, Austin, Jersey City, Culver City, Nashville, Houston, Chicago, Portland (Oregon) or Boston due to the on-site requirements of the role.

Performance Objectives:

The position is required to work collaboratively across global business lines, regional data and reporting teams, on-account finance and operational teams, client technology, sustainability, operations, finance teams, JLLs’ technology teams (JLLT) and global product teams to manage delivery expectations and maintain high quality service delivery.  

The role will coordinate and manage the utility bill processor integration process, ensuring ongoing successful delivery and and positive client experience. The role will act as the liaison between the technical teams and the account team and client. 

The role will work closely with the Sustainability Account team and lead a team to acquire, review and validate utility data and account details to identify any discrepancies or missing information.  The successful candidate will be the main point of contact and own all utility data management delivery with a set and proven approach for ongoing strategic review and improvement for program implementation. Coordination, organization, attention to detail, de-escalation, and leadership skills are key. This role is client facing and revenue generating meaning that client experience and productivity are key metrics.

Employee Specification:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role relating to utility bill processor integration and management. 

  • understanding of technology and software development workflows and capable of working alongside engineering teams. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have time management skills.  

Estimated compensation for this position is:

132,000.00 – 165,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
