The On Site Support (OSS) Planning Specialist is an integral part of a team of professionals who get things done, enjoy working together and are committed to growing with this fast-moving company. With each day bringing new opportunities and challenges, the OSS planning specialist will have a broad scope of responsibilities in order to provide excellent service to their customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan for spare parts and oversee delivery assurance tasks in support of materials needed to provide excellent spare parts customer service to Collins (OSS) customer base.
• Provide tactical execution through order management and management of delivery assurance and expediting activities, processes, data/information and systems.
• Lead process and system development and implementation projects for the team where programs are complex, cutting across organizational boundaries.
• Ensure alignment with central planning and delivery assurance functions
• Drive expediting activities, part status, and management reporting for responsible products.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory turns, service levels and support dynamic changes in market conditions.
• Create tools to help simplify job tasks and shares these with others.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Analytic skills.
• Customer service experience.
• SAP experience.
• Experience in demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, profitability, and inventory.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging communication skills with peers and customers.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
