Key Elements and Essential Tasks

Reporting

  • Creation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts for assigned group
  • Coordinate with senior accountants on the completion of quarterly audit schedules
  • Provide timely and accurate preparation of financial and utilities usage reports
  • Assist in the preparation of analysis and dashboard reporting for leadership and client
  • Support reporting requirements for Quality Management and Performance Management Framework

Analysis

  • Distribute and communicate financial results to Site Lead and incorporate into Monthly Client reporting.
  • Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly variance reports
  • Provide commentary on variances of significance

Compliance

  • Manage the invoicing and PO creation process in compliance with contract terms
  • Review, understand and ensure compliance and proper accounting for all invoices
  • Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the group
  • Support financial process to control approval process from financial perspective for allowable costs, minor works and project delivery services

Leadership

  • Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience

Other

  • Leads work and is accountable for success of annual financial audit
  • Any and all other duties and tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

MINIMUM REQUIRED

PREFERRED

Education/training

  • BS in Accounting 
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PeopleSoft

Years of relevant experience

4-6 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting role(s)

Skills and knowledge

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Unquestionable technical skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend associated legal documents
  • Has led Finance or Business specific projects, directing Associates; Can lead a variety of projects across multiple  disciplines/businesses

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Positive attitude and the ability to quickly respond to co-workers and clients
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • A highly motivated self-starter who works well independently
  • Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills

Physical work requirements and work conditions

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
