Vendor Contracts Specialist

What this job involves –

The VM Specialist is primarily responsible for contracts/vendor oversight of all soft services at the client sites and is fully accountable for the delivery of a variety of third-party vendor services at the client site, consistent with the agreed scope of work, service level and funding – including meeting guaranteed savings targets. Ability to understand & manage vendors across a wide range of services, including Fire Life Safety, Elevators, Grounds, Snow Removal, Pest Control, and assignments as needed to support the account.  
 
The Contracts Specialist has financial management responsibilities at the site, and is responsible for performance monitoring and reporting, as well as supporting the Senior Facilities Manager / Site Lead, as needed. Where appropriate, the CS is expected to take on a Client Relationship Manager role, working with key stakeholders to ensure services are flexibly meeting the customer’s changing business environment.

What is your day to day?

  • Review and validate vendor performance of contracted responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely payment for services received
  • Work with the vendor(s) and other JLL Subject Matter Experts to drive improvement in safety, quality and cost reduction through implementation of best practices, innovations and work process improvements.
  • Monitor contract performance and report on overall service or business outcomes
  • Work closely with Sourcing Director to ensure contract development process is proceeding as planned, assist in the vendor bid analyses as and when required
  • Ensure compliance to Client’s sourcing and contracting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the oversight and/or administration of National Vendors for correctly using Corrigo, billing and executing to the contracted expectations.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure alignment and support core strategies and initiatives, ensuring consistency of messaging
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels

Desired experience and technical skills  

Required

  • 3+ years vendor relationship management experience
  • Able to demonstrate a professional career and subject matter expertise within IFM/Soft Services
  • High degree of maturity, ethics and professionalism to help ensure control of the company’s contractual obligations
  • Possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer background with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to multitask and possess proven organizational skills

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Estimated compensation for this position is:

75,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
