​EY Nexus for Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility (N4AM&M) is EY's newest ambition for continued growth in the manufacturing and mobility sectors. Building on the success of our Nexus platform in financial services, N4AM&M is a cloud native, modern technology platform and product play that enables AM&M clients as they launch new business models supporting electrification and the development of smart connected product platforms. 

 

The opportunity

The AM&M Mobility Product Architect leads the technical design for sector products built on the EY Nexus platform, has a deep technical understanding of the EY Nexus platform, and shapes the technology and patterns for products that solve for sector business problems. 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Leads all product architecture for the sector and ensures alignment to the EY Nexus architecture.
  • Work with the AM&M Sector Product Leader to successfully deliver sector products from design to production.
  • Articulates the product's architectural vision and structure and specifies the features that the market requirements prescribe through a Product Requirements Document.
  • Works with the Chief Architect to provide recommendations to the platform roadmap on new components or enhancements needed for sector products.
  • Participates in the Architecture Working Group to share and collaborate with other EY Nexus architects.
  • Work with EY Nexus Pre-sales/Sales teams to pursue and close priority sector deals.
  • Contribute at least one design/pattern/service to the EY Nexus service catalog.

  • Evangelize the EY Nexus platform and AM&M products built on the platform both internally and externally through compelling story telling.
  • Work closely with the technology teams, account leaders and the EY Nexus family.
  • Communicate strategic visions to our clients and help them and their business development teams socialize the strategy to the greater organization.
  • Assess client business models and identify new revenue opportunities within the context of brand, market, user, financial, and technology constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with EY design, architecture, technology and cross-service line teams to ensure business requirements are deeply integrated into the user experience.
  • Drive pitches and business development activities.
  • Partner with client services to continue to understand market demands and leverage account insight to enhance the sector products. 

 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 10 years or more of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of practical market experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries with recent experience applying your skills around the challenges of electrification that include the design, assembly, or market deployment of electric vehicles and related connected infrastructure.
  • Former experience in product architecture roles is strongly desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, IoT, AI/ML, big data, APIs, cloud, microservices, low/no code applications and disciplines are highly desired.
  • 5+ years in a customer facing capacity with strong presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to move where the role takes you and adjust to customer and market needs dynamically.
  • A strong desire to learn and work on progressive and ever-changing technology solutions. 

 

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Certifications in respective technologies and disciplines are preferred (i.e. AWS/GCP/Azure Solution Architecture).
  • Experience in technology consulting, solutions architecture, and technical sales for software or cloud-native technology platforms.

What we offer
 
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $163,400 to $373,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $196,100 to $424,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
