We are currently looking for an Engineering Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d).

Position Summary & Goals

In this role, you will be joining the one of our global key accounts, as part of the team of our Regional Engineering and Technology Leader. This team focusses on bringing technological enhancements and innovation to our client sites, manages owned properties of the client by means of self-delivery and supports all building-engineering activities across the region.

As the Subject Matter Expert for Engineering your main goals will be to:

  • Support, advise and assist the Regional Engineering and Technology Leader in managing all client owned-offices from a building-engineering perspective. You are expected to be able to support, develop and improve performance of all on-site activities across the region.
  • Work closely with our in-country Workplace Operations Leaders and Chief Engineers to ensure efficient day-to-day delivery of our building operations. You will be helping to indicate priorities, identify improvement areas and coordinate regional efforts, projects and initiatives.
  • Identify areas for improvement related to processes, sustainability and employee experience and drive these improvements across all teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure day-to-day operations are managed effectively across all sites, identify potential outages and provide direct problem-solving support for the on-site teams.
  • Coordinate the implementation of technological improvements that will drive efficiency, sustainability or employee experience.
  • Track, analyze and report available data to allow data-driven decision making in everything we do.
  • Coordinate development of all our engineering staff across sites to develop talent, ensure retention and improve skills across our teams, by means of talent-development plans, succession planning and skill matrixes.
  • Support audits, projects and action plans across the region.
  • Work with the account sourcing team to ensure a solid base of vendors and partners in all self-delivery markets. Focus on timely contract renewal and appropriate skill sets, tailored to local needs. Support tender activities with engineering knowledge.
  • Prepare and present client meetings for all relevant activities within Engineering and Technology.

Your profile:

  • Autonomous and pro-active.
  • Positive mindset and a ‘Can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to adapt communication to various audiences.
  • Affinity with technology and data
  • Engineering background
  • Approx. 10+ years of experience working in complex building management environments
  • Min. 5+ years of experience working and developing teams
  • Experience in working with Building Management Systems.
  • Willing to constantly learn, adapt and change to accommodate to changing environments and playing fields.
  • Professional English (listening, writing and speaking).
  • Strong O365 skills for Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
