Job Description:

As an Sr Solutions Engineer for the Ad Platform technology team within DMED Ad Platforms, you are part of a high-performing team redefining TV advertising. The Audit and Compliance Specialist will focus on SOX audit activities, MRC accreditation, TAG Certification, and other general compliance efforts of our advertising systems across the Walt Disney Company. From a support perspective, this role will be responsible for the intake of user provisioning and de-provisioning requests and troubleshooting user access issues, following a strict process as defined by internal compliance groups.  We are seeking a candidate who has proven problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency, experience with industry accreditations like MRC and TAG, advertising engineering, and complex data systems. The team is fast-moving and requires you to translate data into business impact, while efficiently working with leaders across engineering, finance, product, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, adjust and audit user access to digital ad tools, following defined processes based on SOX compliance requirements
• Intake support tickets related to user access, permissions and audit functions triaging escalations from submission through resolution.
• Execute and manage compliance program deliverables acting as the key POC communicating progress to team leaders and auditors
• Translate technical risks into business issues and evaluate how these issues impact the overall compliance program. Prioritize findings and recommendations and drive collaboration across stakeholder teams to agree on appropriate solutions to drive compliance requirements
• Develop strong partnerships with ad sales, business intelligence, engineering, product management, and analytics leaders to drive focus and solutions to strategic and tactical compliance objectives
• Maintain detailed operational documentation for both internal and external consumption related to MRC, TAG and SOX audit processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, math or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or operations internal auditing, risk management, IT compliance, project management, applications support, information security or ad technology and measurement.
• Familiarity with Digital Ads industry compliance certifications/processes – MRC Accreditation, TAG Certification, IAB Bots and Spiders, IVT filtration methods and tools, etc.
• Experience using Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• ​​Demonstrated experience working with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Business Objects, Looker, etc.
• Ability to work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously
• Proven understanding of systems architecture, design, and implementation.
• Have a “do what it takes” attitude. Be flexible, adaptable and a team-player first.
• Needs to demonstrate the ability to build consensus and support from the Ad Platforms organization on the solutions being proposed.

The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA is $129,900 to $174,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
