Its accomplished corps of Imagineers manage the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects!
Are you interested in joining our Landscape Architecture team? We are responsible for landscape design including hardscape, grading, planting, irrigation and water features; research, studies, illustrations, imagery boards and colored renderings; and the integration of architecture, structural elements, lighting, graphics and utilities for the area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project!
You will report to the Landscape Architecture Studio Executive.
This is a 30-month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.
You Will
- Provide support to project lead/landscape architect and project goals/objectives; ensure alignment to department/divisional Standards of Practice
- Develop landscape architectural project work at all stages of assigned project lifecycle from concept, feasibility or schematic design through the preparation of construction documentation in accordance with established departmental and divisional quality standards
- Ensure that the area development intent is achieved by effectively integrating landscape architectural design with allied fields and components such as: infrastructure, architecture, grading/drainage, lighting, graphics, structural engineering, irrigation, etc.
- Prepare specific work including, but not limited to: base sheets, hardscape plans, planting designs, visual intrusion studies, material schedules, etc.
- Answer construction bid period questions and respond to and resolve field issues and requests for information
You Will Have
- Six or more years in landscape architecture
- A minimum of two years managing a team of landscape architects and designers in the production of contract documents for construction
- Construction phase experience including the submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections
- Working knowledge and experience in the use of plant and hardscape materials and products for thematic applications
- Strong command of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, LandFX, and Rhino
- Showed skill in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for digital illustration and documentation
- Practical experience with BIM tools, such as Autodesk BIM360 and Navisworks
Required Education
- BLA/BSLA degree from an accredited program
Preferred Education
- An advanced degree in landscape architecture, horticulture or land planning is desirable
- Preferably working actively toward U.S. professional licensure

The hiring range for this position in [location] is $92,742.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
