JLL is seeking an ambitious, dynamic individual for the position of Technical Coordinator Role. The focus of the role will be on Critical Environment (CE) activities such as power shut down, preventive maintenance, reactive work, and projects. Provides oversight in all processes, procedures, including use of the corporate network and all platform tools, promoting, and fostering relationships while serving as the engineering services liaison for the client.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Coordinate plan shut down activities, provide remote support to Facilities Managers (FM) during building power shutdown activities.
  • Administrative support of Critical Environment (CE) on day-to -day duties inclusive of Critical Preventive Maintenance (PM) review, follow up, validation and reviewing of service reports.
  • Follow up with FM regarding building power shutdown dates.
  • Follow up with FM regarding reactive work orders and small projects.
  • Support FM in Advance Maintenance Activity Notifications /Power Outage Notifications (AMAN/PON notifications-review draft notifications)
  • Participate in various meetings such as building power shutdown, technical meetings, and monthly OC meetings.
  • Review Method of Procedure (MOP) and Sequence of Events (SOE) document for the AMAN activities.
  • Proactive approach on maintenance/building power shutdown activities
  • Active participation during incident/equipment breakdown
  • Able to support other areas on the Account Technical Team based on the operations activity.
  • Able to support CE power shutdowns activities on some weekends throughout the year.
  • Expectations to work on weekends when required as most of the maintenance work is after hours or on weekend (time in lieu of time spent on weekend will be considered but based on approvals)
  • Needs to able to come to the office located Downtown Toronto (Bay & Front) with some flexibility for remote work, as required)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

  • Background in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of Experience in the Critical Environment role, preferably within the Commercial Real Estate industry.
  • The Role will assume full administration support to JLL Engineering Team in CE program.
  • Knowledge of critical systems such as emergency/stand-by generators, automatic transfer switches, un-interruptible power supply (UPS) systems and power distribution systems is considered as an asset.
  • Data management proficiency, organizational skills, and a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including proven experience in training development and delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Able to work independently in an exclusively remote work environment.
