Job Description:

As the Front of House Integration Manager, you will integrate and optimize Front of House Food & Beverage operations, processes, and initiatives across Walt Disney World Resorts.  You will serve as a Food & Beverage subject matter expert and represent Resorts Food & Beverage in integration efforts with key partners and senior leaders across Resorts. 

In this position you will serve as the area’s designated representative to interface with other work teams due to an ability to think beyond the scope of the immediate operating area.  You will be responsible for communicating up and across Lines of Businesses while demonstrating a passion for Food & Beverage service, observing operations to ensure compliance with Guest service standards, Food & Beverage standards, and food safety/sanitation guidelines, as well as seeking opportunities for improvement.  You will develop and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization and collaborate within the local team to ensure successful partnerships understanding key stakeholders required in operational decision-making and ensuring engagement of partners as needed.  You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and respectful environment while demonstrating the ability to engage and articulate Food & Beverage operational knowledge with all levels of leadership and managing multiple projects with competing timelines.

You will report to the Manager, Resort Food & Beverage Operations.

You Will:

  • Act as the Resource and Subject Matter Expert for Guest Experience Managers for Resorts Food & Beverage operations and technology systems

  • Support the integration of Food & Beverage Leadership training across Resorts ensuring compliance and partnering with the Operations Integration team for future growth and development opportunities

  • Establish and maintain understanding of operational processes, standards, and best practices to provide consultation to operators

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to compile data for Front of House-focused workstreams presenting to all levels of leadership

  • Leverage understanding of Food & Beverage operations to plan, develop, support, and facilitate educational content for Guest Experience Managers

  • Support Food & Beverage Project Manager for implementation of initiatives from an operational perspective

  • Serve as operational voice with key partners for Resort and Food & Beverage Line of Business initiatives

  • Liaison between Resorts Food & Beverage Operations, Resorts Development, and Food & Beverage Line of Business on operational changes, serving as a consultant for educated business decisions

  • Support Resorts Food & Beverage Operations with timeline management providing on-site support during and after asset refreshes, rehabs, etc.

You Have:

  • Five (5) + years as a Food & Beverage Guest Experience Manager

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor Front Line Leaders and Cast, with the ability to navigate and lead amidst constant change

  • Commitment to diversity encouraging an inclusive work environment that supports workforce diversity and diverse perspectives

  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage your schedule and work independently with minimal follow-up

  • Strong writing skills and verbal communication

  • Strong business acumen

  • Strong Problem Solving skills

  • Strong understanding of Food & Beverage technology platforms, including Menu Modification Forms, Menu Pro, MATRA, Mobile Order, Connect Smart, Templates, Avail, etc.

  • Available to commit to work any day of the week during any shift including weekends, nights and holidays

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in Resorts and/or overseeing multiple styles of service, including Quick Service, Table Service, Signature and Lounges

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
