Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The Disney+ Programming team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.

The Content Planning Associate will support the day-to-day execution of the global business rules and content windowing strategy for Disney+ Programming, including managing trackers, developing status reports for executives, and contributing to special projects. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with a meticulous attention to detail and collaborative mindset. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Content Planning and Windowing.

• Support Sr. Manager with defining and documenting the global business rules and process around content sharing/windowing (e.g., establishing 2nd-run windows for linear exhibition, identifying content that can be licensed to 3P partners)

• Track day-to-day updates that come in from various stakeholders/executives, at times specific to individual titles, sets of titles, or deals

• Support Sr. Manager with ad hoc special projects tied to function

• Develop summaries, presentations, and status reports that will be distributed to key stakeholders and executives

• Experience in fields related to content strategy, licensing/windowing, content curation, and project management, ideally in digital media and entertainment.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2+ years experience in digital media. 

Preferred Education and Experience

• SVOD or Linear TV experience

• Windowing/programming strategy experience
