The Ad Platform teams withinDE&E Technology are fully responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining the high -performance, distributed, microservice-based Disney Ad Server. The platform is charged with the qualification, delivery, and tracking of Digital Advertising campaigns (Video on Demand, Live TV, and innovative interactive ads) across all of Disney online properties, including Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+.

In addition, Ad Serving teams collaborate in the development of supporting components, such as anti-ad fatigue systems, impression counting pipelines, and ad experience flows. We also work on integrations with critical services responsible for the correct pacing, targeting, and selection of ads.

A Day in the Life…

In this role, we will lead you through projects from inception to production deployment using Java / SpringBoot / UI frameworks, giving you the toolset to be productive in your future roles.

Responsibilities include:

● Developing applications and tools

● Debugging and testing code

● Documenting services / flows / logic

● Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues

● Deploying to production after certification

What we are looking for…

● Experience with Java

● Strong communication and presentation skills

● Strong problem-solving abilities

● Strong analytical and organizational skills

Nice to haves:

● Experience with Spring

● Knowledge of containers and cloud concepts

Education

Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology or a related field and returning to school following the internship

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
