The role of Affiliate Marketing Manager is to develop and implement B2B and B2B2C marketing strategy for TWDC channels portfolio towards Affiliate partners in relevant markets including building brands’ values and awareness. Support DTC Partnership team to drive Disney+ sales via activities with partners.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.
Areas of Responsibility
Affiliate Marketing
Provide support to Affiliate partners in implementing Marketing campaigns and activations in relation to assigned channel brands , specifically:
Develop strategy and tactical Affiliate Marketing plan in close collaboration with Affiliate, Programming and Marketing teams
Develop and execute budget with a special focus on fulfilling contractual marketing commitments and business needs
Plan and organize B2C and B2B activities with Affiliate partners, including effective use of such tools as: open windows, EPG duplications, own events and customer events, co-branded campaigns and activations, competitions and non-standard activities
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders:
Work closely with Affiliate Distribution Team to support sales, increasing channels market share and non-linear services position to enhance affiliate revenues
Cooperate with Programming and Research team in order to find the best content vs. platforms solutions, evaluate returns and maximize profitability of marketing activities
Liaise closely with channels Brand Managers to brainstorm and oversee affiliate activities and joint campaigns to ensure they are properly aligned and part of 360 marketing campaigns
Ensure that programming highlights, brand characteristics and unique selling points are effectively communicated to Affiliate clients/partners and their subscribers
Ensure that Affiliate clients/partners have access to all necessary information and materials including EPG, metadata, graphic materials etc.
Plan and organize activities during trade conferences to maximize promotion of channels and increase brand awareness
Further, as requested by Media Networks CE Director and Marketing Director CEE
DTC Partnership
Cooperate closely with DTC Partnership Team to develop and execute the best possible strategy and tactical activities to meet commercial goals
Build relationship with partners’ different departments (sales, marketing, call centres, points of sales etc.) in order to build and effective communications
Mange events and competitions that drive sales and brand awareness
Effectively manage the process of accepting the marketing materials
Liaise with TWDC Central Partnership team to ensure mutual understanding of TWDC local goals and partners’ goals
Market Awareness
Analyse Pay TV and DTC competition in the market. Monitor competitors' cooperation with Affiliate partner and recommend new affiliate marketing and trade solutions
Share ideas and best practices for partners and client activations across the relevant markets, to increase synergies and ensure cost effectiveness
Agencies and External Creative Houses
Manage relationships with local agents, creative and event agencies to support business goals
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
Preferably master’s degree in marketing, sales, business management or PR and communications
Minimum proven 3-years experience in B2B area. Affiliate marketing (e.g. for thematic TV channel, satellite or cable operator) might be an additional asset
Familiarity with international entertainment and/or with the TV/ audiovisual
Strong Microsoft office skills (excel, word, power point)
