Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst, Disney+ EMEA Retail Revenue and Consolidation

Location: This role is based in London (Hammersmith) 4 days per week                      

Reporting to: Finance Manager, Retail Revenue and Consolidation Disney+ EMEA

Job Summary
 

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) who has a strong media background and excellent stakeholder management skills, to join us on a permanent contract.

The role sits in our Regional and UK DTC finance team which supports Disney +, The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service.

The Senior Finance Analyst’ key responsibility is to manage the delivery of complete, timely and accurate territory reporting for the EMEA business for all reporting cycles: AOP, forecasts, long range plan and quarter close, working closely with the Finance Manager. The role will also work with the market teams to review processes and deliverables to ensure our reporting is efficient and effective.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinates the preparation of by market financials for all reporting cycles
• Participates in close processes and consolidates quarterly close financials for EMEA (including maintaining a latest view of the current quarter, tracking EMEA and territory variances)
• Collaborates with subscriber growth team to calculate revenue and identify changes
• Performs revenue and variable cost reconciliations to ensure alignment with subscriber KPIs and articulating performance drivers
• Support the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling, reporting and presentations as required.
• Support a ‘one team’ approach within EMEA finance. Build a network amongst the finance community across lines of business and markets, sharing resources and knowledge.
• Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the finance leadership

The Experience We Require From You:

• ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis and experience of working in a similar role within the Media sector
• Attention to detail
• Experience working with financial IT systems, experience working with SAP/BW and Cognos Reporting and excellent proven Excel skills.
• Experience of working with and providing financial support to operational and commercial teams, desirable
• Financial modelling and analysis
• Template creation and consolidation
• Demonstrable track record of providing commercial support to business partners that is insightful, timely and responsive
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, flexible to all levels of the organisation
• Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, working with multiple systems and in multiple locations, and forming excellent working relationships
