SaT Q –Quality Enablement

 

Position title – Senior Analyst 

 

Team background - Team is primarily responsible for supporting quality and risk management at global and regional level. The Quality team forms part of the first line of defense, helping to ensure that the firm’s risk and quality processes are effectively implemented. The team supports our client facing colleagues to ensure that engagements we undertake do not put the firm at risk or undermine our reputation. Key focus is to ensure that the Partners and their engagement teams comply with the firm’s policies, quality standards and complete all the mandatory requirements.

 

Position – The individual would be working closely with the Global Quality Leader to assist in various global quality initiatives. The individual would be required to:

• Develop subject matter expertise on SaT Quality processes
• Interpret risk management policies, Global SaT policies and local guidance to determine compliance against them
• Drive the Region Quality matters by taking ownership that involves interactions with Senior Management, leadership across geographies and the engagement teams

 

Technical responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating local sub service line or competency policies with respect to any global or local regulatory changes. This includes updating legal templates like engagement agreements, third party release letters etc. and creating relevant guidance
• Assist in onboarding for new joiners and create local training material
• Monitor GEAR uploading compliance in relation to archiving of signed engagement agreements to include:
  • Generation of periodic reports against specified parameters; and
  • Any required additional chasing of engagement teams
• Monitor ARC completion compliance (<30 days from code closure) to include: (i) generation of list of teams to be chased; (ii) monthly 4-staged engagement team reminder process; and, potentially in the future, (iii) non-compliance monitoring and escalation
• Perform compliance testing on client and engagement acceptance procedures completed on PACE
• Ad hoc requirements e.g. Independence Testing (when required as a result of a QRP finding)
• Maintaining and updating Quality SharePoint site, accreditation database and other policies & procedures.

 

Qualifications/requirements:

• Postgraduate with 3-5 years in risk management and / or quality function of Big 4’s. Alternatively, hands-on experience in quality and risk management, compliance monitoring
• Candidates with exposure to working in cross cultural environment is essential
• Good academic background
• Good communication skills and good analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, Sharepoint
