Job Description
We are looking for an analytical, innovative and customer-obsessed marketing leader to join the Category Marketing team at Amazon Retail Australia. Our vision is to deliver leading class shopping experiences for Aussie customers that are tailored to their shopping mission. We strive to offer customers Earth's largest selection across diverse categories for including Media, Consumables, Electronics, Fashion, Home, Kitchen, Sports & Outdoors.
You will be responsible for developing robust customer and category insights, and using these to develop experiments and build innovative solutions to delight customers. You will grow customer acquisition, engagement (frequency of shopping, basket building, spend per customer) and retention through exceptional marketing execution. You will measure impact of marketing initiatives and continuously improve and optimise performance.
You will be customer-obsessed, demonstrate strong ownership and insist on high standards. You will have an analytical mind and be comfortable diving deep in data and developing actionable insights. You will collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders across Central Marketing, Product/Programs, Category Management, Public Relations and Finance to inform and refine the customer engagement strategy and execution.

Our team operates out of our fabulous CBD office (conveniently located near many transportation options), and from home (during COVID-19) leveraging technology.

Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL at the interemdiate level
