Job Description

Amazon Seller Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Representative for our Selling Partner Recruitment and Success sales teams. We are focused on the recruitment and growth of Selling Partners, by providing bespoke strategic advice in order to develop their business on the Amazon store.
This role will focus on building trust through win-win relationships with Selling Partners to drive engagement and adoption of growth-driving programs. We help accelerate program adoption for key growth opportunities by coaching Sellers on the fundamental building blocks to develop their business long term. These growth levers are consisting but not limited to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), advertising, Amazon Brand Registry, etc.
This individual will work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. You will be chartered with developing and managing a sales pipeline mix of both high-value and transactional accounts, while executing consultative sales and account management strategies to deliver results and ensure Seller satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with senior and executive level decision-makers to accelerate customer adoption.

Successful Account Executives will:
· Drive and exceed Seller revenue growth goals for a defined portfolio
· Work with a sense of urgency to drive and deliver sales goals while maintaining a high quality of work.
· Manage, develop and execute business development strategies against a comprehensive account/territory plan
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions through a consultative selling approach, clear communication, problem-solving oriented, and utilize data to drive actionable insights.
· Partner with other Amazon teams including Category Management, Program Development, and other Global Selling teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth in existing seller base.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, acquire and grow seller commitment to the Selling on Amazon program.

- Analyze customer data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the assigned territory. Execute successfully on the plan recommended.

- Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.

- Develop and thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.

- Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining current book of business such as mentorship, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

- 2+ years of successful enterprise class sales experience, preferably in e-Commerce, Retail Technology, Finance, Logistics or Software Industries
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales metrics and quota attainment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, and consistently fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate progress and objectives to upper management
- Strong problem-solving passion and service orientation
- An ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and a passion for continuous improvement through collaboration and teamwork
- Show independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Highly analytical with the ability to analyze data
- BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience selling similar products/services
- Retail e-commerce experience
- Reverse Logistics Experience
- Salesforce experience
- Basic understanding of the ecommerce seller journey/day-to-day

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $38,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $92,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
