Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for development of Overall Transition Strategy, Project plan aligned with project charter and in accordance with the goals and transition schedule set in the contract.
  • Work closely with client and incumbent service provider’s teams and craft a Transition plan with emphasis on exhaustive coverage of knowledge transfer of full scope services, activities handover and service process alignment.
  • Deliver transition within solutioned budget, agreed timelines
  • Be responsible for identification of knowledge transfer components with help of SMEs
  • Scoping and planning knowledge transition sessions for transfer of knowledge from incumbent to new provider.
  • Be responsible for ensuring knowledge is properly acquired by the team, documented in AID (Application Information Document) or a knowledge repository, demonstrated through hands on activities and disseminated to the new team members.
  • Should have handled knowledge transfer process end to end
  • The practitioner will be responsible for inheriting As -is service management processes, performing maturity assessment of current processes in line with ITIL framework and creating a plan/ roadmap for To-Be process state. The Service Transition manager is also expected to compile/ update process documentation / flows for standard ITIL/ service management processes e.g. Incident, Change, Problem, Release, Configuration management processes using agreed tools and propose best practices
  • Will be responsible for setting up the performance measurement framework to enable SLA/ KPI reporting in line with contractual obligations.
  • Will conduct Process workshops on ITIL v3/4 Process Solutions, with key stakeholders


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Overall 10 + years of experience managing change projects/programs in complex environments within tight timeframes
  • Master-level capabilities required in Project and Change Management and Process improvement
  • At least 5 years of end-to-end Transition Management experience
  • Results-oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
