Job Description

Amazon Freight is looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical Senior Sales Manager for our Enterprise Account Executive team. Amazon Freight is a new startup business with Amazon focused on developing an industry leading transportation offering to provide external freight Customers access to the world class network and freight services currently used to operate Amazon’s own freight movements. Our Enterprise-ready freight offering ensures our Customer’s freight is moved with the highest level of service and quality at a competitive price across multiple modes of transportation (Truckload, LTL, Intermodal). As a Senior Sales Manager, you will manage a team of Account Executives and their Enterprise accounts, create sales strategies to deliver results on key KPIs, manage cross-functional team relationships (Operations, Legal, Marketing), and influence the future of Amazon Freight.

Key job responsibilities
• Hire and develop Account Executive talent for Amazon Freight.
• Create sales strategies to deliver results on key KPIs.
• Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes.
• Earn trust of customers by understanding business needs and capabilities to recommend product solutions.
• Translate Customer KPIs to influence standard of work with internal stakeholders.
• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve objectives.
• Analyze purchasing processes and present solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years managing large sales teams hiring and developing sales talent.
• 5+ years creating and tracking individual and team sales goals.
• 5+ years of B2B business development experience.
• 5+ years implementing account segmentation, account strategies, and CRM strategies.
• 5+ years direct field experience in working with Enterprise accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sales/account management experience in freight or the broader transportation industry.
• MBA or advanced degree in logistics or related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $130,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $242,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
