Job Description:

The Communications Coordinator for Disney Vacation Club generates content to bolster our objectives and Sales initiatives, all the while captivating our internal audience. As a member of the Sales Operations Communications Team, you will combine strong communication and project management skills to keep our cast advised on our sales procedures and operational changes, while maintaining integrity and discretion working with critical information and leadership teams.

The Communications Coordinator will report to the Communication and Integration Manager and sits in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Support, develop and produce high-quality communication materials for multiple sales channels.

• Build comprehensive communication plans for ongoing internal campaigns.

• Aid Leadership in crafting internal-use presentations.

• Maintain confidential information with all levels of Cast, including Executives.

• Build relationships with partners to communicate information related to policies, procedures and new projects.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in the field of communications, showcasing adept coordination and project management capabilities.

• Demonstrates outstanding time management, problem-solving, and organizational proficiencies, consistently displaying proactive initiative in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to work in both independent and collaborative work settings.

• Displays a strong grasp of sales procedures and operations, with prior experience in crafting internal communications, including proficiency in AP Style, grammar, and punctuation.

• Proficiency in PC environment and experience utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software.

• Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Stays informed about updates and improvements to relevant systems, including Microsoft 365 programs and Adobe Creative Suite.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
