Astro is Amazon’s first household robot to use AI and Intelligent Motion to gracefully and intuitively interact with people and spaces. It is a different kind of robot, one that’s designed to help customers with a range of tasks like home monitoring and keeping in touch with family. It brings together new advancements in artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor technology, voice and edge computing in a package that’s designed to be helpful and convenient.
We are seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator to join our rapidly growing Devices team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, detail-oriented, good with people, and comfortable working with participants in the field. This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to work quickly and be flexible while delivering high-quality results. Having an eye for process improvement is critical as we evolve our processes.
The Program Coordinator will need to learn quickly about process and support other internal team members for daily tasks. S/he should be proactive in addressing issues, be able to identify any gaps in tools and process and suggest enhancements. In addition, s/he should be agile to implement any changes to protocol in response to different needs and workflows, and be able to communicate clearly with internal and external team members and stakeholders.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with key stakeholders for requirements and set up the delivery plan considering resource and timeline
- Communicate regularly with management on status, risks and change control
- Documenting, follow up with internal / external members at Amazon
- Identify, communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Be able to lift up to 25lb+ device daily

Key job responsibilities
* Assess requirements with key stakeholders and develop a delivery plan based on resources and timelines
* Coordinate with the product development team, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure deliverables are in line with project goals.
* Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate updates on project progress.
* Create and manage dashboards for issue tracking in JIRA, SIM and/or other management tools
* Identify and manage risks and issues that may impact project timelines and budgets.
* Lead standups, bug triaging meetings, and take notes
* Identify blockers and increase the visibility of issues
* Engage the right POCs to take follow-up actions and resolve issues
* Track, drive and report on KPIs using status reports, wikis and dashboards
* Maintain software release schedule within expected milestones in collaboration with TPM's
* Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization.





A day in the life
* Lead/co-lead daily bug triage standup - 20%
* Lead/co-lead weekly status sync with program/feature team - 20%
* Work cross-functionally with TPMs, SDMs, SDEs to gather requirements, create project plans, coordinate tasks, and meet program deadlines - 25%
* Establish dashboards to track ongoing tasks, such as SIM tickets and JIRA tickets - 10%
* Use Smartsheet and Confluence (Wiki) to track project deliverables - 25%


About the team
The Building Blocks team is focused on delivering Vesta goals and features, tracking feature completion, and maintaining milestones and roadmaps for the various teams within the CoRo organization. We work mainly with TPMs, engaging cross-functionally with software, hardware and science teams to drive alignment towards key business goals. We are committed to improving and adding new features to the Vesta program.

Basic Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Engineering, Business)
• 2+ years relevant work experience in program management or conducted activities in related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Consumer electronics research experience
• Experience working with prototype assets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
• Introduces innovative solution to help simplify or improve on process
• Displays affinity for creating mechanisms
• Displays strength in documentation (SOP, Doc), report writing, and data analysis capabilities.
• Showcases sound logic in mitigating risk of action
