The opportunity

 

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Front-End Developer to join the EY Consulting Team. If you have a sincere passion for Consulting and looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your knowledge, skills and career, this role is for you. 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

• Develop and implement user-facing features using React or Angular
• Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless performance across various platforms
• Integrate web services and APIs into front-end applications
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practices into the development process
• Work closely with back-end developers to enhance the overall application performance and functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end development
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Participate in road map activities in the assessment of emerging technologies

To qualify for the role, you should have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering 
• Minimum four years of hands-on experience with JavaScript (React or Angular)
• Experience in CSS3, HTML and related web technologies
• Experience with integrating with REST / APIs and microservices
• Worked with Agile methodology
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs

• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality 

It will be a plus if you have

• Tech Lead experience
• Worked in a consulting firm in the past
• Deliver products for banking industry
