The opportunity 

 

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Product and Service and Innovation Consultant to join the EY Consulting Team. Your primary focus will be on integrating design thinking principles into product ideation, analysis, and design to create innovative, user-centric solutions; defining new products or enhancing existing ones. Your Key Responsibilities 

 

• Identify market opportunities, user needs, and pain points through research and analysis 

• Create and iterate on desirable products, often using prototyping methods 

• Develop strategies that align with user needs, behaviours, and preferences, based on user research 

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technology architects, business domain experts, leadership, and regulatory functions to ensure feasibility of the designed product 

• Define the vision, setting clear goals and objectives for the product's development and growth 

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market dynamics and identify opportunities 

• Create roadmaps, outlining the features and enhancements needed to achieve the goals 

• Create compelling business cases to obtain necessary approvals and fundings 

 

To qualify for the role, you should have 

 

• Degree in business administration, marketing, product design, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred. 

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product development, innovation management, or a related field. 

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering innovative product and service development projects 

• Strong proficiency in market research, trend analysis, and consumer insights to drive informed decision-making 

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within designated timelines and budgets 

• In-depth knowledge of design thinking methodologies, agile development, and emerging technologies 

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and addressing business challenges

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

• Self-driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethic 

• Team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines 

• Ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects 

• Hard working professional with ability to work under pressure 

• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
