We’re looking for Manager with expertise in Data Analytics and 8+ years of work experience for our rapidly growing Internal Audit practice within EY GDS Consulting across multiple levels and locations. Your key responsibilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering/ Statistics/ Mathematics or any other quantitative field
• A passionate data analyst having a strong knowledge and minimum 8 Yrs experience on MS SQL Server, Power Platform, Alteryx along with either Python / VBA / MS Azure as additional technologies
• Understanding on ERM or standard business process knowledge around procure to pay, order to cash, inventory, journal entries etc. is a must
• Prepare material to inform senior management and the Board on risk appetite
• Experience on data governance approach and data management strategies
• Prepare material to inform senior management and the Board on risk appetite
• Collaborate with IA leadership to align on data analytics strategy, including identifying opportunities to use data analytics in audit engagements, risk assessments, department metrics, board reporting, and other initiatives
• Drive business growth and lead GTM (go to market) activities within the Risk Analytics space
• Strong communication skills: ability to both formulate/understand the business problem at hand as well as ability to discuss with non-data-science background stakeholders
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives
• Strong understanding of business management, financial and leadership principles
• Train, motivate and coach analysts as they provide attentive, efficient analysis to clients, assess employee performance, and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities

 

 

Client Management

• Understand the client’s business & related industry issues / trends.
• Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams
• Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client

 

Market Leadership

• Participate / support business development initiatives.
• Support multiple innovation initiatives to enhance existing solutions leveraging emerging technologies like AI/ML, Advanced Analytics
• Support the practice in developing thought leadership content and other innovation initiatives from time to time. 

 

 

 

Quality delivery

• Independently execute assignments, where required
• Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.
• Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget) for assigned requests.
• Constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
• Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers.
• Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate on a timely basis.
• Identify process gaps and accordingly provide recommendation in areas requiring improvement based on the client's business process and industry practice.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers. 

 

Operational

• Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities of the firm.
• Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.
• Planning and scheduling optimum staff levels for engagements. 
• Drive and lead new solution development and create industry specific POVs for market growth
