About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

We are looking for a Director of Product to join the Automation & Integration product team to help build the next-gen of no code integration capabilities in Salesforce. This person will execute on this vision by:

  • Defining metrics to ensure product success and drive corresponding requirements to deliver on these metrics,

  • Organizing and facilitating project planning, weekly meetings and presentations tracking milestones and tasks with assigned teams,

  • Identifying and removing impediments that block the team’s ability to meet project objectives,

  • Providing timely status reports; introducing mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks,

  • Facilitating team discussions, setting expectations and resolving conflict.

This person will be responsible for developing roadmaps and operational execution of a large team based in India. They will need to demonstrate deep functional-technical-operational expertise in enterprise software delivery, with a preference for those who have worked on automation or integration products. Candidates must be passionate about building enterprise-grade platforms that delight customers, with a bias for customer success and growth over delivery. This person must be comfortable in developing and managing a high volume of complex project deliverables while orchestrating the efforts of cross-functional teams to execute on projects. The product team is located in San Francisco, with engineering distributed between the USA, India, and Argentina. This person will be able to collaborate across global time zones.

Key Leadership Competencies:

  • Builds Trust and Credibility: Is accountable for everything that their team does, and encourages transparency and psychological safety within and across teams. Makes data-driven decisions for the benefit of customers, and consistent with the company’s core values. Ability to set and maintain a clear vision from stakeholder and market engagement. Models a growth mindset to build a culture of learning, and shares mistakes widely for others to benefit and support.

  • Focus on Customer Success: Builds and maintains relationships with external and internal customers and stakeholders; obsessive-focus on solutions that have significant positive impact on their business.

  • Innovate for Growth: Always thinking about how to innovate and improve our products and our business; mapping these to our corporate strategy. Stays abreast of market and technology trends, to ensure we’re always on the front foot.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate details into bigger picture implications that manage risk and drive the business forward, and never afraid to challenge the status quo. Understands the larger Automation domain and dynamics, with the intellectual horse-power to manage complexity across many teams and projects. Aligns the right resources to the task at hand; foresees and plans around obstacles.

  • Lead & Adapt to Change: Thrives in a changing, dynamic environment and can drive operational consistency and efficiency to be resilient to changing needs. Relishes leading even when times are tough and models the Salesforce GREAT Leader characteristics: Salesforce Smart, Get it Done, Win as a Team, Motivate and Champion, and Courageous Communication.

What you should have:

  • Overall 14+ years of experience and 10+ years in Product Management

  • Knowledge in at least one area: automation technology, low code app development or integration

  • Highly experienced in working cross-functionally to design and deliver broad product portfolios, with sophisticated capabilities and platform characteristics

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies

  • Grace under pressure — proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results on time juggling multiple projects and priorities.

  • Outstanding organizational, communication (verbal/presentation/written), and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce Platform and Flow is highly beneficial

  • Degree in engineering related field and/or MBA
