We are seeking senior engineering leaders to join our team.

Job Description:

In this role, you will:

• Hire, Mentor, Manage and Motivate engineers and build high-performing teams

• Deliver cloud services on schedule and within budget; You will be accountable for the design, implementation, schedule, and delivery, of your team’s programs & products

• Build planet-scale elastic services, capable of running in private Salesforce data centers and in public clouds.

• Contribute technically to projects, can architect and build services paying attention to service fundamentals such as High-Availability, Reliability, Telemetry, Servisability, Monitoring and auto-healing.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in CS or equivalent field, or sufficient demonstrated experience in CS topics

• Practical knowledge of algorithms, patterns, and tradeoffs of large-scale system designs

• 8+ years of professional software leadership experience • Extensive experience building and owning large-scale, multi-threaded, geographically distributed systems

• Fully hands-on technical manager

• Experience in running cloud services

Preferred Skills:

•  Excellent business and technical communication skills at all levels of the organization

• Ability to be agile, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguous specifications

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $213,900 to $326,300.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $233,300 to $355,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
