As a Quality Control Scientist, you will closely work with engineering and operations teams to ensure product quality and to ensure that customer's get what they want when they want. You will understand the big picture from raw materials to final packaged product. You will understand and establish critical quality checkpoints to ensure product quality.

Key job responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection and product release activities as necessary to support the product development and production of electromechanical devices and consumables
- Perform activities related to biochemical and analytical testing, and test method transfer and validation
- Perform the finished goods stability program, including managing schedules, inventory, testing, and reporting of results
- Investigate OOS results from FP and stability testing
- Provide QC support for manufacturing tech transfer
- Perform trend analysis for FP and stability testing
- Ensure procedures, systems, and processes effectively meet Quality requirements and business needs for product development through commercialization
- May prepare, maintain, and review internal policies, procedures, systems, and processes, to ensure compliance to product requirements and international regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Support internal and external audit follow-ups, issue tracking and closure
- Assist QA management in monitoring and driving key performance quality metrics

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Control testing / inspection for a production environment in regulated industry
- 5+ years of experience with bionalystical or chemistry methods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with bioanalytical or clinical chemistry test method transfer and validation, including protocol and report writing
- Proficiency with computerized systems and software eg. ERP
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
