At Disney Television Animation (DTVA), we are looking for a coordinator with a dedication to ensuring an outstanding recruitment experience! As the Coordinator, Artist Recruitment, you will facilitate the administration of employment processes in accordance with hiring guidelines and policies for DTVA. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the recruiting team in various responsibilities from posting positions to coordinating and scheduling all phases of interviews through the offer process. Additionally, you will elevate the overall recruitment process by providing an outstanding level of customer service and quality throughout the recruiting process, ensuring a professional, impressive, and uniquely Disney candidate experience!

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Artist Recruitment and Recruiters in any/all tasks related to talent acquisition and outreach, including handling requisitions, sharing position to job board websites, scheduling interviews, coordinating travel arrangements, completing offer and onboarding tasks for candidates on behalf of the Recruitment team
• Track employment-related correspondence (applications, forms, offer letters, and on-boarding materials)
• Assist with the creation of documents, forms, spreadsheets, and presentations
• Assist with data integrity (data entry and maintenance) of the applicant tracking system (Workday) and other tools/systems/reports used to run recruitment and onboarding, including updating records and recording meeting notes
• Handle scheduling for all interviews, including internal and external candidates, at the direction of Artist Recruitment & Artist Management team
• Facilitate new hire orientation for DTVA
• Partner with collaborators in production management, including Production Department Secretaries, on scheduling tasks
• Facilitate the testing process with Hiring Manager and Candidates
• Coordinate the process of providing, collecting and organizing non-disclosure agreements as a part of the interview process
• Communicate thoughtfully and with the utmost tact always, treating all candidates with dignity and respect
• Coordinate off-site Recruiting events and attend job fairs as needed.
• Represent DTVA at major conferences, schools, and industry events, e.g., LightBox, Afro Animation
• Assist with, and sometimes lead, coordinating efforts for talent outreach for TVA, sometimes partner with Talent Acquisition teams from other Disney studios and lines of business
• Ensure a high level of confidentiality
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Administrative or Coordinator experience in a Recruitment/Human Resources function, ideally within the entertainment industry
• Familiarity with the animation, visual effects, comics, and related fields and industries
• Experience using HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems to ensure high quality candidate experience, Workday preferred
• Skill for crafting, organizing, and manipulating data spreadsheets (Excel)
• Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, Forms) or their Google counterparts
• Familiarity with applying social media for professional needs, especially LinkedIn
• Ability to work with all types of highly artistic and technical subject areas with demonstrable ability to support a variety of individuals, levels, and situations in a professional environment
• Ability to travel for Animation industry events, conferences, and school outreach trips.
• Adobe suite and other design/web applications preferred
• Curiosity for the animation space

Skills

• Strong organization and interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
• Project Management skills to prioritize and handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to forecast progress, including potential problems, in projects and processes
• Ability to prioritize independently and work autonomously while engaging collaborators thoughtfully to build consensus, problem solve and/or secure approvals as related to each task

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field preferred or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $51,120.00 to $70,290.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
