Power Systems Field support SSR are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with IBM, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data
You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role

Role and Responsibilities: -
- This role is an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance and repair of IBM logo hardware, software and operating systems.
- Specialist skills on Power Systems / PowerVM
- AIX installation/Upgradation/Patch Management
- NIM based installation and administration.
- LVM, Filesystem and NFS Management.
- Storage Attachment and multi-pathing Configuration.
- LPAR Creation and Administration.
- Resource Management and DLPAR operations.
- Good Knowledge of VIO.
- Trouble shooting any problem and its data collection.
- Raise and track Service Requests with IBM/OEM.
- Good Knowledge of PowerHA
- Basic of Storage.
- Good skills for AIX trouble shooting.
- Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Min 2-4 years of experience with experience in the following areas:
- Good knowledge of Power hardware, AIX troubleshooting. In-depth Knowledge of LVM & Storage Subsystems. AIX Certification are preferred.AIX installation/Upgradation/Patch Management
- NIM based installation and administration
- LVM, FileSystem and NFS Management
- Storage Attachment and multi-pathing Configuration
- LPAR Creation and Administration
- Resource Management and DLPAR operations
- Basic concept of VIO
- Trouble shooting any problem and its data collection
- Raise and track Service Requests with IBM/OEM.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Good knowledge of Power hardware, AIX troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LVM & Storage Subsystems. AIX Certification are preferred.
