Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
In this position you will be working closely with the Cloud Pak for Data core platform development team to ensure quality of code and product.

What you’ll do:
Work closely with Product Management, Development and Architecture to understand and guide product features and testing. Contribute to the development of new methods for automation in QA. Lead, attend and participate in scrum meetings to understand development features. Manage testing environment and test data using various tools such as Jenkins & GIT. Executes and updates test cases and scenarios. Perform usability, functional, and regression testing. Evaluate and test software bug fixes, extensions, and features.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ years of professional experience in Software testing
• Experience with UI automation frameworks.
• Experience with build, testing, and continuous integration tools.
• Proficient in automation tools like Selenium, Puppeteer etc.
• Proficient in Javascript, node.js or any other programming languages.
• Proficient in shell scripting.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thrive in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Python
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience in REST APIs and REST client like Postman.
• Familiarity with Openshift is a plus.
• Familiarity with Puppeteer framework.
