The Group is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst that will play a key role within the Studio FP&A group with the review and consolidation of various budgets and forecasts across the pillar (Content Sales, Licensing & Other (CSLO)). This offers a great opportunity to work across the various Walt Disney Studios’ lines of businesses (production, theatrical, etc.) and also provides exposure to a number of other teams within the company (planning and controllership). 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Studio Capital consolidation process at each 5YP, budget and forecast, including COC analysis and facilitating project approval during AOP

• Responsible for Disney Live Action and Searchlight overhead planning

• Assist with the CSLO P&L consolidation process at each 5YP, budget and forecast, including P&L COC analysis

• Work closely with Studio Business Unit Finance teams (e.g., Marvel, 20th Century Studios, etc) to understand business issues impacting P&L and Overhead

• Perform ad-hoc analysis at the request of Studio senior management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred) 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues

• Strong knowledge of Excel (including macros) 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues to Studio management

• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives 

• Ability to drive and implement process improvements across key activities

• Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and also with other business units 

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• SAP and Cognos experience is a plus

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time, while keeping supervisor properly informed

The hiring range for this position in CA is $92,742.00 – $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
