Your Role and Responsibilities
  • As a Alliance lead you will build & maintain relationship with multiple hyperscalers, build pipeline for business deals and take them to conclusion. Focus will be on managing the alliance relationship, joint engagements, sales and pipeline building with the hyperscaler.
What you will do:
  • Establish IBM as one of the strategic Cloud Alliance Partner.
  • Map the hyperscaler Organization from an alliance perspective & build relationship.
  • Drive solutioning for complex deals involving multiple LOB and brands as part of RFI, RFP and formal deal processes with focus on Oracle/Salesforce as hyperscaler.
  • Ability to assess clients’ environment, identify business opportunities.
  • Own the hyperscaler solution in proposal end to end.
  • Liaise with hyperscaler to bring in solution, sizing and any other expertise including landing zone creation for the client workloads envisaged to be migrated.
  • Liaise with RedHat and other IBM technology BUs and prepare a consolidated proposal with hyperscaler and RedHat and other IBM technologies baked into the solution.
  • Define solution architecture, building on synergies and consensus across service lines and across mobile application development, management, and integration technologies.
  • Work with business stakeholders and project managers to understand gaps in clients existing IT landscape and applications and recommend to-be solutions
  • Ability to envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client
  • Committed to liaison & align right teams to solve complex, cross functional and cross architectural issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 12 to 15 years of total experience in sales and consulting
  • Pre-sales and Solutioning of cloud based solutions
  • Building opportunity pipeline in respective areas and then pursuing to result in signing.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • End to end project management experience with Indian clients
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Post signing, he/she would be responsible in overseeing delivery as per solution.
