Job Description

  • Selected individual will support the global launch process including virtual builds, PPO builds, and pilot events
  • Selected individual will incorporate safe work practices including the development of PPE requirements, safe operation setup, and proper guarding
  • Selected individual will incorporate new content into current process utilizing the operation readiness process
  • Selected individual will be responsible for a master dot process ensure all tasks are completed per the global development vehicle process including immersive technologies
  • Selected individual will be responsible to develop and implement a three (3) shift training plan which will include immersive technologies, school builds, and FWA JIT training process
  • Selected individual will be responsible to support tooling development and implementation
  • Selected individual will be responsible to lead the development of change by footprint (CR process) partnering with Launch CORE, Vehicle Systems, Plant Maintenance, Safety, & I.E.’s
  • Selected individual will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems including PQS, torque, error proofing, trace, MPD, and electrical Bo0 (SID’s).
  • Selected individual will assist in implementation of engineering changes including EWO, TWO, ECR, & PTR processes.
  • Selected individual will be responsible to document and resolve build issues utilizing the easel board process, PRTS process, and plant standardize work process. 
  • Selected individual will be responsible for developing standardized work that meets the plant production schedule requirements
  • Selected individual will be responsible to manage the SUPP budget through all accounts (2000 – 9000)
  • Selected individual will be responsible to report out at various launch walls ensure proper escalation to leadership
  • Selected individual will be responsible to capturing build issues and presenting the issues during build event wrap-up meetings including containment countermeasures for upcoming build events

  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) for extended periods of time
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
  • Demonstrated technical and professional skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan
  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Project management experience
  • Previous experience leading salaried teams

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite on a full-time basis.
