Salesforce’s BT Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) team is seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner to define and manage mission-critical, internal integration and emerging AI requirements designed to connect our business.This role is within the Information Technology organization supporting a variety of business units throughout Salesforce.com worldwide, including interfacing with our Mulesoft TMP team as we partner to build the next generation of AI capabilities. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a highly dynamic, fast-paced and high-growth environment, as well as having experience at managing complex projects in support of the overall EA strategy and program. You must also excel at communicating and influencing others to partner closely with our cross-functional business partners.+

As a high functioning individual contributor driving execution, you will work with highly skilled product and technical teams while collaborating with multiple business partners throughout Salesforce to ensure integration and AI solutions support the requirements you helped define. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing technical requirements and acceptance criteria, facilitating communication between teams and stakeholders, demoing solutions, communicating team status, announcing releases, facilitating requirement modeling sessions, educating stakeholders of the development process, and negotiating priorities, scope, funding, and schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with product management, business and IT teams at all levels to assess, initiate, prioritize, refine, and drive appropriate technology solutions.

• Contributes to EIP vision at the initiative level, influencing scope and delivery options with feedback.

• Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization.

• Works across IT on key initiatives to evolve enterprise integration and AI to better serve our internal customers.

• Looks ahead to identify delivery and capacity needs based on the product roadmap and works with management to address them.

• Owns the delivery of a product roadmap incorporating projects, features and other key initiatives

• Distill requirements on technical topics into written goals and stories without becoming bogged down in implementation details.

• Actively participate in architecture and design reviews, able to understand the technical implementation trade-offs to ensure that requirements are not misunderstood or being ignored by a given implementation plan.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline, with 8+ yrs related information systems experience and 3+ years in enterprise integration. 

• 4+ years of experience as a Agile Product Owner within the enterprise integration space

• Experience with a variety of ESB and ETL platforms

• Familiarity with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) concepts and designs

• Strong background in business process analysis, requirements, and design, as well as detailed functional design.

• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global teams.

• Experience with AI / GenAI / LLM technologies is a plus.
