Tableau introduced power of visual analytics to the world making it the de-facto analytics standard in the enterprise. For next stage of growth our goal is to integrate Tableau analytics deeply into Salesforce platform  and ecosystem. This team will work on building admin platform which provides capabilities, API’s, governance, licensing, permissions and experiences that enable ubiquitous adoption of analytics and insights in any organization. 

In this role, you will:

• Take admin platform vision and use cases and convert then to components and services that need to be built. .

• Work closely with tight knit hybrid engineering and product management team to tackle tough design, product and engineering problems.

• Work in small and fast paced team to handle ambiguity and build v1 product. 

Qualifications

• Experienced: 4+ years of deep understanding of object oriented programming and experience with at least one object oriented programming language (Java, Go, Python C++, C#)

• Experience building large scale distributed systems and services in cloud environment. 

• Prior experience building admin platform with exposure to authorization, identity, licensing, permissions for a content management system is a big plus. 

• Technical: Strong understanding of object oriented programming, design patterns backed by solid computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.

• You love writing code that is not only robust and efficient, but also easy to maintain and monitor.

• Learner and growth mindset, desire to ramp up in new domains and curious to build solutions to complex problems.

• Team Player: You enjoy collaborating, learning from and teaching others so we can all become better developers. You assume good intent in others, and actively do your part to make a positive work environment

• Proactive: You have a knack for anticipating problems and are self-motivated to venture beyond the obvious. You have a bias for action and desire to get things done.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $146,600 to $220,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
