You…

As a Quality Assurance and Automation Test Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the overall application testing requirements of this program. You will support the Lead Automation Engineer by testing for application defects against the approved application requirements stored as JIRA user stories. The application to be tested is hosted in a cloud environment and based supported by AWS serverless services like Lambda, API gateway and others. You will be expected to understand basic cloud concepts, be able to interact with AWS Lambda functions, and troubleshoot identified problem areas through AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail. As part of testing, you will develop test cases aligned to a test plan for the application functionality previously described, and for data validation efforts of items stored in relational and non-relational databases like Aurora MySQL or DynamoDB respectively. You are a motivated independent individual who enjoys complex application functionality, a fast-paced work environment and supporting customers on their modernization journeys to modern cloud environments.

Us…

We were founded as a fresh alternative in the Government Consulting Community and are dedicated to the belief that results are a product of analytical thinking, agile design principles and that solutions are built in collaboration with, not for, our customers. This mantra drives us to succeed and act as true partners in advancing our client’s missions.

Program Mission…

The project you will be working is to modernize an existing legacy mainframe application to an AWS cloud based, serverless environment supporting forward leaning cloud architectures, reduce program sustainment costs, and increase system reliability. Our approach is to transform legacy applications to be cloud native and reside in a VPC as a Service (VPCaaS). Additionally, modernize current applications by breaking them down into loosely coupled micro-services, and leveraging a continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline to enable an agile DevOps Strategy.
