Are you passionate about supporting an organization and helping teams learn how to implement and operate new and innovative technical solutions (incl. integrated COTS solutions)? Program Mission…

Our customer has acquired an integrated commercial solution requiring a moderate level of customization that will support the contract acquisition lifecycle and provide a unified set of tools to make its enterprise acquisition process more simple, modern and efficient. The vision is to enhance acquisitions and operational excellence by delivering a modern, efficient enterprise solution. We provide the end-to-end acquisition management solution that supports the functionality identified in the process flows and accomplishes the requirements set forth in a Requirements Traceability Matrix. It is seeking our team to meet evolving requirements, leveraging COTS and configuration over customization, and where appropriate, use agile best practices in software delivery and development including, but not limited to, human-centered design. The project seeks to continue transitioning users from legacy acquisition systems to fulfill our customer’s goals of modernizing and consolidating its IT acquisition footprint and realizing cost savings from sunsetting legacy systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and deliver training programs in coordination within an Agile team of change management specialists and technical platform experts.
  • Support short- and long-term training initiatives that provide the business community with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to utilize the newly deployed software effectively.
  • Support change management activities to promote the system’s usefulness among the user community and ensure end-user buy-in and satisfaction.
  • Create, update, and deliver timely training delivery tailored to the government client’s needs by utilizing in-class training, webinars, or any other training methods.
  • Develop, publish, and revise training curricula and materials for web-based or blended presentations.
  • Support the analysis of training needs and collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop learning objectives, content, and delivery of proposed courses.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to training programs, courses, and materials to ensure training and development needs are met.
  • Conduct training courses as designed in the curricula.
  • Provide an assistance to users in production environment.

Years of Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience

Location: Remote

Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust clearance is required.



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Previous experience in a government acquisition environment.
  • Experience identifying end user and operational training requirements.
  • Experience developing training documentation to support new system implementations including development of system operations guides and manuals.
  • Experience developing end user training material and conducting train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, public speaking (incl. remote), and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with the ADDIE model of Instructional Design.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Mid-level subject matter expertise in acquisition COTS software as a service, such as Unison PRISM COTS.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
