Job Description

The Senior Analyst of the Asia-Pacific & Europe Executive Office is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of GM Financial’s regional executive office. The role compiles and synthetizes business-pertinent research and data, and conducts business with other colleagues or external vendors on behalf of the regional executive.

POSITION OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as the coordinator for internal and external contacts, including vendors, colleagues, clients, and customers
  • Conducting research and creating reports on various topics based on the needs of the executive
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, reports, and other correspondence
  • Keeping important information and documents organized physically, and electronically
  • Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Three to five years’ prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team
  • Native (or equivalent) English proficiency, additional European language(s) or Mandarin a plus
  • Familiarity with automotive captive financing is a plus

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong business acumen
  • Understanding and decomposition capabilities of financial statements
  • Exceptional reporting, writing, and editing skills
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to strategize, research, and synthesize market reviews and business reports
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Mastery of PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant executive reporting tools
