About the Role & Team

The Business Analyst is an important member of Disney Central (DC) and Contact Centers around the world. In this role you will work to capture and document requirements to support the discovery and translation of data into reporting, dashboards, and operational insights. You will collaborate with your team members and clients in order to gather and document reporting and analysis requirements including, but not limited to, supporting the analysis of data from contact center and performance systems for Contact Centers for Disney Central. You will synthesize requirements reflecting data from applications such as but not limited to Disney Performance Tracker(DPT), Zendesk, Live Person, and Nice Nexidia to support the production of insights and reporting. You will partner with internal technology teams for ongoing support, process improvement, and identification and use of new data information and the output of these systems. You may also participate in vendor support efforts to accomplish these tasks. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in the development and support of reports and dashboards.

You will report to the Manager, System Projects & Insights.

What You Will Do

You will capture requirements to support the creation and maintenance of analysis, reporting, maintenance, and dashboards for partners.

• Develop an understanding of pertinent systems and data workflows from a variety of sources.
• Provide high-level estimations of work based on initial requirements.
• Be a key partner in the expansion and testing of requested functionality and reporting outputs used for analysis for supported systems at supported contact centers.
• Work with diverse teams across varying departments with varying priorities.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technologies and developments that can be leveraged to provide reporting and insights into the business.
• You will partner with other teams to ensure that the reporting and analysis developed is based on your requirements, enabling the business to understand Guest insights and action plans around that data.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of work experience writing and maintaining detailed requirements to support business analytics and reporting or analytical-based data projects.
• Be proactive in problem-solving and applying analytical skills, with an ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Professional written and verbal communication skills, including appropriate judgment regarding: how to adjust to different audiences and when/how to keep peers, partners, and leadership informed
• Willingness to learn new processes and systems, while providing insightful feedback on current tools and methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience tracking and managing project work within timeframes while maintaining high quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing Tableau reports
• Experience preparing and creating cohesive data sets from multiple sources to be used in analysis & reporting
• Recent experience with NICE Nexidia, Zendesk, Live Person, and/or NICE Disney Performance Tracker
• Proficiency with SQL (preferably in Snowflake)
• Experience with analytics automation applications (preferably Alteryx)
• Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g. Generative AI, etc.)
• Familiarity with Smartsheet
• Proficiency with automating business processes
• Proficiency with statistical analysis concepts
• Solid understanding of sales incentive plan concepts

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
