Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Deliver a scalable, high performance cloud computing platform that meets customers' business needs. Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features. Architect and build Cloud based solutions. Develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high-quality software with the Quality Engineering. Product Management, and Technical Operations teams. Analyze, design, and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Collect, process, and analyze data at petabyte scale to drive business results for online publishers and marketers of the world. Build and add new features to existing solutions. Collaborate with the R&D team to build compelling and innovative user interfaces, a platform for developing applications in the cloud, and an infrastructure that supports storage and processing of missions of critical data. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering or five (5) years of experience in the job offered. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java - 2 years; (2) JavaScript - 1 year; (3) Hadoop - 1 year; (4) Hive; (5) Apache Spark - 1 year; (6) Python - 1 year; (7) AWS - 1 year; (8) Restful APIs - 1 year. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $183,310.00 - $220,000.00 per annum.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,310 to $220,000.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,310 to $220,000.
