Salesforce Inc. seeks Technical Consultant in Dallas, TX:
Job Duties: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Participate in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment. Interact with customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure customer success. Design, develop and integrate Salesforce apps and components with back-office systems using modern web tools and technologies. Develop proofs of concept as needed during the design and requirements phase to evaluate products and integration strategies. Validate application code using unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools. Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments. Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs, and end-user guide. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); (2) Object Oriented Programming; (3) JavaScript; (4) Version Control (5) HTML; (6) CSS; (7) Visual Studio Code; (9) REST API; and (10) Java. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option.
